Following a recent musical beachside performance from, ORKESTRA DEL SOL, your favorite HEAVY BREATHERS of the BRASS DOMAIN, Marco and his Sousie simply WANDERED OFF, muttering sea shanties under his breath. Yes, he simply went straight on, turned right, and created what was described in the Bournemouth Advertiser as an UNPRECEDENTED AQUATIC INCIDENT. See for yourselves if you like.

Our Marco is still afloat. He was last seen off the coast of the little island of THERMOSA.

But fear not, dear fans of our mailing list, in the next few exciting days your friends, Orkestra del Sol, will attempt to BEACH HIM near the coast of CATALUNYA and then swim back to the EDEN FESTIVAL (dry land) in Scotland. Presuming the wind will remain a firm north-easterly, we shall paddle back to THE TABERNACLE in London's NOTTING HILL for Friday 11th Sept before a final crossing of the SOLENT to BESTIVAL. This year's concerts will finish with a nice warm BATHGATE, and the punnery shall be all over, bar the whiting.

As MARCO removes the last of the sea water-soaked BUNS out of Sousie and CAPITANO PLATANO polishes his epithets, SINCERO MINIMO'S libido shines as a beacon of pent-up non-fulfillment. LORENZO looks at it and smiles. Yes, dear followers, THIS is a PREAMBLE. You might be feeling SLEEPY. That's normal. Now we will tell you something VERY IMPORTANT.

Loyal fans, you're FEELING GOOD. You are a GOOD PERSON. We, ORKESTRA DEL SOL, your favorite minstrels of melody, are here to tell you that the LAST FEW PRECIOUS SHOWS of the season are almost upon you and it's time to BOOK A TICKET. It's US! Can you see us wearing ROSETTES? RED and BLACK ones? For YOU! YOU who have voted.... with your feet. YOU who chose... with your hearts. "YOU-HOO that went with the FEELING" (sing it).

Thank you to everyone in the Czech republic, and possibly other countries, who voted ODS in last week's elections, believing it to be us, their friends, ORKESTRA DEL SOL, who entertained them so amusingly on TV last summer. The Swedish have a Pirate Party (apparently not a mis-spelling). Slovakia have the SMER campaign. But it's the Czech that have the ODS. But you don't want that ODS - you want THIS ODS! BRING ON THE BAND!

Just imagine the party - The ORKESTRA DEL SOL PARTY, PARTY PARTY PARTY! As your democratically chosen representatives of MUSICAL MAYHEM, we will unite the whole European Zone with DANCING and LAUGHTER. Bring on the tax-free GIGGLING, DANCING, HILARITY, and SWAYING (for the pensioners). Yes voters, GENERAL MUSICAL APPRECIATION is central to our policy of OVERALL FUN!

We shall polka them on the beaches. We shall waltz them in the nightclubs. We shall CARESS their EARS with joyous HARMONY and CALYPSO. Your festivals await us and WE ARE COMING to one near you.
